That’s a very difficult to answer. Homes come in all shapes and sizes as do the contents of them. That’s why we always visit you so that we can measure everything and provide you with a competitive quote.
As soon as you have an idea from your legal team when completion on a house sale is likely to happen you should let us know. But whatever you do, please don’t leave it to the last minute!
We’ve become expert at dismantling and reassembling all types of furniture including beds, tables, sofa’s, and bookcases. We also disconnect and reconnect washing machines and other electrical equipment.
Yes, but only if you want us to. This depends entirely on your preferences. We can carry out a full pack of your contents or a breakables-only pack. Both are cost-effective, but if you choose to, you can pack by yourself. If there is a lot of packing to be done, we often do this the day before your move.
We can arrange storage for any quantity of contents for a short or long period of time. Some of our clients just need us to move items to storage while they redecorate their home. Others need storage because there is a long wait before their new home is ready to move into.
Only tip if you have had a good service. If you have, then the removal team will really appreciate it. Even a small gesture is always welcome.
Furniture is not built to be moved while full! Chests of drawers and wardrobes should be emptied before moving to avoid making them unstable. We use wardrobe boxes with hanging rails to transport the hanging contents from wardrobes as well as garment bags for shoes, and folded clothes, coats etc.
We provide insurance coverage for your belongings during transit. This ensures that in the unlikely event of damage, you are protected. Ask us about the details of our insurance policy.
Unexpected delays can happen. If there’s a delay on your moving day, we have contingency plans to handle the situation, including rescheduling or temporary storage solutions.
Our team is trained to handle special items like pianos, artwork, and antiques with care. We have the necessary equipment and expertise to ensure these items are moved safely.
We understand that sometimes moves can be sudden. While we recommend planning in advance, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests based on our availability.
There are certain items, like hazardous materials, that we are unable to transport. Please inquire for a detailed list of non-transportable items.
We can take care of securing the necessary permits for parking our moving vehicles at both your current and new locations however it can sometimes be cheaper if you organise it yourself we can advise when quoting.
